Description
An incident from the life of King Robert the Bruce. King Robert, wearing his crown and a yellow surcoat with the lion of Scotland embroidered on it, raises his hand to heaven, denouncing the barbarity of those who have deserted a woman and new born baby who are lying on the ground. On horseback is Edward Bruce, and around are various soldiers on horseback and on foot.
